The Industrial Management Major, the Faculty of Industrial Technology, held  a practical seminar on using Minitab software package for the third-year Industrial Management students on Tuesday 30 April 2019 in order to develop students’ knowledge and skills on information, media as well as technology, and to help students primarily apply the knowledge and skills into the real working situations. This practical seminar was held at Computer Lab 4222, Building 42, the Faculty of Industrial Technology, and was honored by Mr. Rattanapong Yodsrima, the Statistical Support staff form Solution Center Company Limited which is the only one Minitab software distributor in Thailand, to be a speaker.

          Minitab software is a program which is widely used in almost all fields of industrial management, such as statistics, plan and quality tools, quality control, performance and effectiveness of production and machinery as well as experiment design. In addition, it is extensively accepted in industrial area over 40-50 years. The result of this seminar entailed knowledge as well as experiences on using basic Minitab software, and the seminar also promote confidence of participating students who would do an internship as well as have career in the industrial management area in the future. According to the result of satisfaction towards this seminar, there was a very good level of satisfaction.
