On 8-10 August 2019, the Department of Industrial Management, the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized a workshop to prepare industrial management freshmen to get ready for incoming semester at Room 4222 and 4711, the Faculty of Industrial Technology. The workshop consisted of activities in developing fundamental mathematic skills for industrial management and fundamental Excel software. In addition, there was an orientation for freshmen by cooperating with parents. The aims of the workshop included 1) to prepare freshmen learning and living in a campus, 2) to develop parents understanding and cooperation with them in caring for their children, and 3) to prepare freshmen skills of numerical calculation and information technology, especially basic Excel programs.

           This workshop was honored by Dr. Sawai Sirithongthaworn, the Head of Industrial Management Program, to be a speaker. For feedback of organizing this workshop, freshmen as well as their parents who participated in this workshop were highly satisfied with the activities. Furthermore, the result indicated that students seemed to have a decrease of drop rate and drop out, and the overall grades of courses related to numerical calculations seemed to be improved.
