Congratulations to Assistant Professor Parinwat Thanasiratheerachai of the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, on receiving the First Prize in the National Innovation Awards 2025 in the field of Social and Environmental Innovation, under the category of Government Agencies and Non-Profit Organizations, for his outstanding work entitled “UD-FIRE: A Decision Support System for Deciduous Forest Management.”

The award ceremony was held at Napalai Grand Ballroom, 1st Floor, Dusit Thani Hotel, Bangkok, organized by the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization). The prize was graciously presented by Dr. Chutima Iamchoticwalit, Chairperson of the National Innovation Board, who also extended her congratulations to the award recipients. In addition, Dr. Krichphaka Boonfueng, Executive Director of the National Innovation Agency, delivered a report on the background of the National Innovation Day 2025.

This prestigious achievement marks a great source of pride for Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, reflecting the faculty’s capability to develop innovations that contribute significantly to society and the environment. Furthermore, it aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, which promotes innovation and technology-driven development, and Goal 13: Climate Action, which emphasizes the use of technology and knowledge for sustainable natural resource management.
